Boudoir Session with Tiffany at Winter's End

This boudoir session with Tiffany took place just as winter was starting to end in Los Angeles, though it may look like summer to folks elsewhere in the world. This was our first time working together, and it was a total dream to finally collaborate after knowing each other on Instagram for so long. The session itself was effortless, I truly believe that when photographer and subject are in sync, soulful photographs are as natural as sunshine.

Each year I give myself a different goal or something to work on. This year, aesthetically I’m working on incorporating layers into my photography, such as playing with the interaction between background/middle ground/ and foreground. And thematically, I am working on making photographs that feel like memory, which to me involves a certain looseness and incorporating fragmentary details about the entire experience. I’ve attained a certain degree of mastery in this art, so now the challenge is to find counter-intuitive ways to keep growing.

In other news, I am currently taking inquiries for sessions in March and April, as well as limited coaching for photographers. Thank you for reading, and have a great weekend.
